about us:
Mid Del Group Homes, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residential and vocational services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Eastern Oklahoma County. Since our founding in 1983, our mission has been to help the individuals we serve build independence, develop life skills, and reach their fullest potential.
For over four decades, Mid Del Group Homes has worked to ensure that adults with disabilities have opportunities to live meaningful, productive lives while remaining active members of the community.
Residential Services
Mid Del Group Homes operates four residential group homes in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Each home provides a safe, supportive living environment where residents can maintain independence while receiving assistance from trained staff.
Our residential program currently supports 24 individuals, with six residents living in each home. Residents have their own private bedrooms and share comfortable common spaces designed to create a welcoming home environment.
Many of our residents have been part of the Mid Del family for decades, and we are proud to provide them with stability, dignity, and a place they truly call home.
Vocational Services
In addition to residential care, Mid Del Group Homes operates a 17,000-square-foot vocational workshop where individuals develop job skills and participate in meaningful work opportunities.
Each day, residents and community participants complete a variety of contract jobs for local businesses. These tasks include:
Product assembly
Quality inspection
Packaging and labeling
Filling and sealing materials
Document shredding and other production work
Our largest vocational partnership is with Century Martial Arts, where participants help assemble and inspect martial arts equipment and apparel. These work opportunities provide individuals with a sense of accomplishment, responsibility, and pride while helping them build valuable job skills.
In addition to our residential clients, we transport up to 15 adults with intellectual disabilities from the community each day to participate in the vocational program.
transportation Services
Transportation is a vital part of helping the individuals we serve remain active and engaged in their community. Mid Del Group Homes provides transportation for residents and community clients to attend work programs, medical appointments, recreational activities, and other essential services.
Our goal is to remove transportation barriers so that individuals can fully participate in daily life.
Community Partnerships
Mid Del Group Homes works closely with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to create opportunities for the individuals we serve.
Through partnerships with organizations such as Feed His Sheep, Joe’s Addiction, Leah’s Hope, and Mid-Del Youth and Family, we help distribute needed supplies and support programs that serve vulnerable members of our community.
These collaborations allow us to expand our impact while strengthening the network of services available throughout the Mid Del area.
Our Commitment
At Mid Del Group Homes, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, pursue their interests, and contribute to their community.
We are committed to:
Promoting independence
Encouraging personal growth
